As Shankar’s magnum composition, 2.0, starring Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth is approaching release, the market is abuzz with commerce news pertaining to the film. The most recent is that India’s major cinema complex chain, PVR Cinemas, helmed by the Bijli brothers, has been sign on as the cinema complex associate for 2.0.
Raju Mahalingam, Creative Head of “Lyca Productions”, exposed this information with a tweet that read, “Lyca’s promise to amuse Indian spectators is manifest more powerfully by our tie up for multiplex with PVR. Separately from 2.O, PVR Cinemas will carry on as the multiplex partner of Lyca’s upcoming movies”.
On the imaginative front, major portions of the film have been wrapped up, and Rajinikanth has also completed dubbing for his portions. Sources say that the makers are working day and night, and the VFX work is going on at a killer pace so as to give the CG experts as much time as they need to come up with superlative work.
